Surudoi Diamond Hook Sharpner

The difference between a bite and landing a fish.

In heavily fished waters, carp inspect every rig before taking the bait. In the split second between picking up the bait and spitting it out, the sharpness of your hook determines the outcome. The SURUDOI Diamond Hook Sharpener hones any hook to a needle-sharp point in just a few strokes—sharper than straight out of the packet, and sharp enough to take hold the instant it touches a carp’s lip.

The double-sided diamond surface sharpens faster and more evenly than a standard file or stone, and it retains its effectiveness session after session. Simply move the hook point across the diamond surface in one direction—from the bend toward the tip—using light pressure; never move it backward. A few strokes on each side, and you can cast out with total confidence. It’s small enough to fit in any tackle bag and features a glow-in-the-dark handle, so you can easily find it on the floor of your bivvy at 3 a.m. when it really matters.
