Some anglers are a bit hesitant when they have to tie the more complicated rigs themselves, such as the Hinge Rig, but now that is no longer necessary, as you can buy a ready-made version that is rigged exactly the way Korda's top anglers would do it themselves. The Hinge Rig is an excellent setup if you want to use pop-ups a bit further off the bottom (compared to a Spinner Rig). And you can rest assured that you won't have tangles and that you are always fishing effectively, as long as the bottom is clean. Due to the stiff boom section, the bait is pushed away from your lead and lands correctly when a carp picks it up and spits it out. The rig is rigged with a Mouth Trap on a Choddy hook with the perfect curve for the best hooking ability. The boom is made of IQ fluorocarbon, so it does not stand out against the bottom. The Hinge Rig is available with and without a barb, with a size 4 hook on 25lb line, size 6 on 20lb, or size 8 on 20lb. You get one rig per pack.
