Korda PTFE Spinner Swivel

One of the key principles of the spinner rig—as the name suggests—is that the hook should be able to rotate freely, allowing it to take hold inside a carp’s mouth. The freer the rotation, the greater the chance of a solid hook-up; this is precisely what the PTFE Spinner Ring Swivel achieves. Designed specifically for us with this rig in mind, this size 11 swivel is compatible with a variety of hooklink materials, as the integrated ring eliminates the need for a connecting loop. Much like our standard version, the hook can be easily attached to or removed from the 'hook' end of the swivel, over which a Kicker is then slid to keep everything securely in place. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) possesses one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid material, making it an ideal coating for swivels, as it reduces friction between the barrel and the eye. They are sold in packs of eight.
